Terms & Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HALF-DAY AND FULL-DAY EXPERIENCES

1. Introduction & Applicability

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“the Traveler”) and IntiTwins (“the Company”) for short-format travel experiences including half-day and full-day offerings. All agreements are governed by the laws of Portugal and any disputes shall be resolved via mediation and arbitration centers in Portugal.
2. Booking & Contract Formation

Your booking is confirmed once a 50% deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued by IntiTwins. This deposit is non-refundable.

Bookings made less than 48 hours before the experience are subject to availability and must be paid in full at the time of booking.
By submitting your deposit, you enter into a binding agreement and acknowledge acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

3. Pricing & Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the experience. All payments must be made in euros, and travellers are responsible for any bank fees or currency exchange charges.

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, Wise, PayPal (with surcharge), or via this website.

4. Changes by Traveler

Due to the short-term nature of these experiences, requests for changes must be made at least 72 hours prior to the experience. Changes are subject to availability and approval by the Company and may incur administrative fees. Requests made within 72 hours of the experience are not guaranteed and may be declined.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

All bookings for half-day and full-day experiences are non-refundable. This policy applies to both the deposit and the full payment, due to the limited group size and short notice of these services.

6. Company-Initiated Cancellations

If IntiTwins must cancel the scheduled experience, travelers will receive a full refund of all payments made. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your experience or transfer your booking to a different date or experience of equal value at no additional cost.

7. Travel Insurance & Health

While travel insurance is not mandatory for single-day experiences, it is highly recommended. Travelers must disclose any health conditions that may impact their participation. IntiTwins reserves the right to deny participation if such conditions pose a risk.

8. Force Majeure

IntiTwins shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed but we will do our best to offer an alternative or rescheduling option.

9. Liability

Travelers participate at their own risk. IntiTwins is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damages resulting from third-party services, force majeure, or failure to follow safety instructions. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow all safety guidance provided by the guide.

10. Traveler Obligations

Travelers must carry valid identification and be punctual for the experience. Respectful conduct towards fellow participants, local communities, and the natural environment is expected at all times.

11. Complaints

Any issues should be brought to our attention during the experience so we can resolve them immediately. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the experience.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Traveler information is collected only for operational and legal reasons and is stored securely. IntiTwins does not sell or share personal data without consent. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more information.

13. Minimum Participation

Some experiences may require a minimum number of participants. In the unlikely event that the minimum is not met, IntiTwins reserves the right to cancel the experience. In such cases, travelers will receive a full refund.

14. Use of Photos/Videos

Photos or videos may be taken during the experience for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please notify us in advance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MULTI-DAY EXPERIENCES

1. Introduction & Applicability

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“the Traveler”) and IntiTwins (“the Company”) for multi-day offerings. All agreements are governed by the laws of Portugal and any disputes shall be resolved via mediation and arbitration centers in Portugal.
2. Booking & Contract Formation

Bookings for multi-day experiences must be made a minimum of 3 weeks (21 days) in advance of the scheduled start date to ensure we can provide a high-quality and personalized experience. During high season (June–September), we recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance due to increased demand and limited availability. Your booking is confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of €300 per family member is received and a written confirmation email is issued by IntiTwins.
By submitting your deposit, you enter into a binding agreement and acknowledge acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
3. Pricing & Payments

A non-refundable deposit of €300 per person or per family member is required to secure your reservation. As each journey is tailored to your group’s needs, this deposit covers the initial work required to secure accommodations, partners, and curated experiences that reflect your intentions.
The remaining balance must be paid in full once the client approves the proposed itinerary and accommodation plan — typically within one week of receiving the deposit — and no later than 21 days (3 weeks) before the scheduled start of the experience.
Failure to complete payment at least 21 days prior to the start of the journey will result in automatic cancellation due to non-payment, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstance.
All payments must be made in euros (EUR). The traveler is responsible for covering any bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or payment processing charges.

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, Wise, PayPal (with surcharge), or via this website.

4. Changes by Traveler

Due to the short-term nature of these experiences, requests for changes must be made at least 14 days prior to the experience. Changes are subject to availability and approval by the Company and may incur administrative fees. Requests made within 14 days of the experience are not guaranteed and may be declined.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

All bookings for multi-day experiences are non-refundable since this experience includes bespoke itinerary planning, and our team begins working right away after the deposit is made. This policy applies to both the deposit and the full payment. If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another person, pending approval from IntiTwins.

6. Company-Initiated Cancellations

If IntiTwins must cancel the scheduled experience, travellers will receive a full refund of all payments made. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your experience or transfer your booking to a different date or experience of equal value at no additional cost.

7. Travel Insurance & Health

For multi-day experiences, comprehensive travel insurance is required. Travelers must disclose any health conditions that may impact their participation. IntiTwins reserves the right to deny participation if such conditions pose a risk.

IntiTwins shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.
If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you are forced to return home early, we cannot refund the cost of any travel arrangements you have not used.
